This Non-Designated Department sees about 9,000 patients per year and the physicians can work either 12 or 24-hour shifts. Serious Trauma or Pediatrics is transferred by helicopter/ground to St. Louis. Physicians can be either Emergency Medicine trained or trained in a Primary Care specialty with 2000 hours of documented EM worked. Work in a department that has great hospital support including Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Cardiology, OB/GYN and Hospitalists. Located less than 80 miles from metropolitan St. Louis this location offers the great scenery, hiking, and all the outdoor activities while still only being a short drive from St. Louis. We are currently looking to bring on either one additional full or part-time/per diem physician at this location. Hospital has outstanding in-house Specialty Support which includes Cardiology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, OBGYN as well as an in-house Hospitalist Program. Department has a volume of 36,000 patients per year with 39 hours of Physician coverage as well as an additional 20 hours of Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant coverage daily. This equals a very provider friendly average of 1.67 patients per provider per hour. Department is transitioning to Epic EMR with Scribe support. Enjoy a great work/life balance while working only 12 shifts a month, which is being considered full time. Full-time physicians can expect to make over $500,000 yearly in compensation.
